John McGheeI have been trying to find a good quality, good looking panama hat for a little while now and have been a disappointed up until now. If they were high quality (higher weave) they were not blocked very good and did not look very good. If they looked great, they usually were of a lesser weave and did not protect form the sun very well. Panama hats direct delivered the best of both worlds at a very reasonable price. I would recommend it to anyone I know and will not hesitate to buy form them again.

Attached are a couple of Pictures of me in a Cuenca. I am sitting in one of my offices in China (this one in Foshan, Guangdong). I have a Super Primo Plantation with wide brim but it is in my Shanghai Studio (I am an architect) so when I return to Shanghai next week I will send you a picture of that hat.
The pictures were taken the day after we elected Obama President. You may be able to guess who I voted for from the small picture of Obama tucked in my hat band. A few years ago I went to a Rolling Stones concert in Shanghai. Keith Richards told the audience he was “I am glad to be in Shanghai, actually I am glad to be anywhere”. Yesterday was a great day for Americans and today I am glad to be living and working in Shanghai and wearing a Panama Hats Direct hat.

Bill GatesJust received my "Super Fino" hat from Panama Hats Direct. The hat is beautiful! The weave is tight and straight and it is every bit what I expected. Casey and William have been great to work with. Not only was I very hesitant to order an expensive item over the Internet from another country, but I have seen so many "Panama Hats", "Montecristi Hats" on the Internet at a vast disparity in pricing, that I was very afraid of being taken advantage of and receiving an inferior hat.
That is not the case with Casey and William. They produce what they promise and stand behind their work 100%! The first hat I received was a beautiful hat, but the wrong size. MY FAULT. I caution you to pay very close attention to measuring your head size. Download Casey's measuring tape--PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE INSTRUCTIONS. Measure more than once and have someone else confirm your measurement--DON'T "round up or down--give them the measurement and they'll do the rest. To make a long story short, Casey and William gladly accepted the returned hat and made me another at just the right size. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I've already recommended them to several friends who have been waiting to see how mine turned out. I expect them to place their orders soon. I will gladly recommend them to everyone I know.
